"Still around. For now."

Not sure if anyone's still reading,
Since this has been the longest break,
I've ever taken between posts.

Really really lazy nowadays.

But I'm feeling rather good tonight.

I just got back from a slow jog,
(Of course I've had my shower)
My 2nd this week.

Hopefully this will be the start of something good.

I checked my organizer - a Reader's Digest freebie,
The last time I ran was in December last year.

I really pray that I can keep this going.

Now that I'm slowly approaching the big three-zero,
I realized that it's really very easy,
To put on weight around the mid section.

Also, after watching Hey Gorgeous!,
It seems like every other guy out there is buff and toned.

It's bad enough I don't have a good bod;
I don't want to be reed thin with a soft belly.

I promise you'll see a leaner Frank in 2008!

And oh yes,
The last few times I blogged,
I mentioned my desire to achieve the Zac Efron look right?

My hair is a lot longer now...

Not yet Zac Efron,
But I don't think my hair has ever been this long.
I've had longer fringe during my Aaron Kwok days,
But this time, both the back and the sides are much longer.

It helps that the weather is a lot cooler recently.

Hopefully I pull through with it!

How come I'm doing so many things,
That require my utmost determination?

Forgot to take pics,
But I just picked up my eighth pair of shoes this year.

And oh,
I also got into a little scuffle with a deranged Japanese,
2 weeks ago.

I honked at him after he swerved into my lane at Nicoll Highway;
The fucker tailgated me all the way home,
Not before running out of his lorry,
To punch me a few times on the helmet at a red light.

Not say punch very hard lah, cos I wasn't hurt,
But pissed enough to make a police report.

And the police are of course handling it,
With their usual efficiency.

-_-

That is, if they're handling it.

"This is turning into a shopping blog."

There comes a time,
In every man's life,
When he must make an important decision:

Should I,
Or should I not,
Carry a manbag?

I've never had the habit of carrying bags,
Because firstly,
I don't carry much with me when I go out,
And secondly,
Whatever I need fits nicely into my pockets.

Then I started wearing slim-cut jeans.
And now nothing fits into the pockets.
I can't fit my phone,
(Which is damn thick to begin with)
Into my front pocket,
Without me accidentally dialling someone,
Even if I lock the keypad.

So I've been using my green canvas bag,
Which I bought from the army market for $6,
While I decide which bag I want to splurge on.

I only have enough money for one bag,
So I wanted to spend more time,
Looking around and comparing prices,
But before I could do that,
Taka started its 14th anniversary sale today,
And damn...

I just couldn't resist.

14% off almost everything,
And plus another additional 10% if you have the Taka card,
Which thankfully, my boss has.

Anyway, even if I wanna blame myself,
For buying on impulse,
It's also too late,
But I can't wait to use my manbag tomorrow.

Some of you guys might think Dunhill is an uncle brand,
But it suits me fine!

"Another hair post."

Didn't understand the fuss,
That was about Andrea Fonseka,
Until I had the luck,
To share a lift with her on Tuesday.

And I must say,
She's absolutely gorgeous in person!

She's also one head (or more) taller than me.

I've never really minded my height until Tuesday.
The fact that she was wearing heels,
Isn't much of a consolation either.

Anyway,
I'm embarking on another quest,
To grow my hair.

Yeap, I know I've never succeeded,
But I really really wanna have hair like Zac Efron:

And so far,
The comments I've received ranged from:

"I can't imagine you with hair like that."

To "Isn't liking Zac Efron a teenybopper thing?"

I'm trying my best to avoid another failed mission,
But the weather really isn't helping!

"I'm a shoe addict."

:: B5 - All I do

Another new pair of shoes.

Now I finally understand,
Why Charles & Keith is so successful.

Cheap and trendy shoes are irresistible!

My new shoes are from Pedro,
The "brother line" of Charles & Keith,
In case you were wondering about the connection.

However,
I've heard a lot about how their shoes don't last very long,
So I'll probably wait and see how this pair holds up,
Before I buy another pair.

But anyway,
I'm very happy with my purchase!
I have too many pairs of Nikes,
So it's nice to add a little diversity into my collection.

Work-wise,
I'm not too happy this month.
Sales isn't too good,
And nothing seems to be going my way.

>:-(

"Every title is the same nowadays."

:: High School Musical - Breaking free

At this rate I'm going,
My next post will probably arrive next year!

Maybe I'm a little too old for this,
But I'm in love with this man at the moment:

And hopefully I'll be able to find time,
To catch Hairspray,
Because he's in it.

Nothing you haven't heard before,
I've been really busy and tired,
But I managed to take 2 days off this week,
To do some shopping,
And tadah,
Let me present to you my 5th pair of shoes this year:

I also have some rather tragic news...

We lost a member of the parrot family last week:
Faith flew away and was attacked by crows.

I did not witness the accident,
Since I was away at work,
But I was pretty traumatized by it.

In fact, writing about it makes me uncomfortable again,
So I'll just end it at that.

Sigh.

By the way,
I hope the new picture on the right isn't too big,
I just took it today when I was bored at work.

So far, the response towards the goatee isn't too bad,
What do you think?

"It's always hard to say goodbye."

:: Robin Thicke - Lost without you

Today I said goodbye to my labret.

It's a tough but necessary decision.

It still feels weird,
Running my tongue across the back of my bottom lip,
And not feeling the labret.

I knew from day one that there's always a risk,
Of gum recession,
But I told myself that I'll remove the piercing,
When that day comes.

Of course,
I've always hoped that day will never come.

So after almost 8 years of occasional,
And accidental bumping of gum against metal,
I've noticed that my gums have receded slightly.

Since my gums cannot be replaced,
The piercing will have to go.

Come to think of it.
Maybe I'm too old for piercings anyway.

And so,
Feeling a little sad,
I settled down to watch Prison Break.

A few minutes later.
I realized that my chin was slightly wet.

Hopefully the stupid hole closes,
Before I start "leaking" at work!

"It's just so bloody tempting to let this blog die."

I've always thought,
That I'll never want to stop blogging,
But obviously now I'm thinking otherwise.

So much to do,
With so little time.

So where got time to blog?

Ever since I signed a new contract,
That requires me to work longer hours,
In exchange for a slight increase in pay,
I've not written a single decent entry.

If I do blog,
It's mostly just blogging for the sake of blogging,
Because deep in my heart I don't wanna give this up.

I've a bad feeling,
This post is gonna be another waste-time-tactic,
But I'll try my best.

Also, my air-con is not being very helpful,
By puffing out warm air in this sweltering heat.

Actually nowadays my life,
Mainly revolves around work, Prince,
And the occasional spot of shopping,
So there's nothing interesting to blog about.

I did manage to spare a couple of hours,
By attending the Butch Hunt finals at Zouk though.

As usual, a (near) complete waste of time and money,
But for some strange reason,
I always end up going,
No matter how much I swear that I'll never go again.

One of the contestants is really quite cute...

Jack agreed too,
And of course she's the one who's not a butch at all.
Yep,
I'm talking about the one with the long hair.

I just loved how she made zero attempts to act butch.

Anyway,
One of the highlights of the night,
Was seeing Shuhua on her little green Vespa.
I'm not exactly sure what shade of green it is,
But it's pretty similar to the color of SMART taxis.

Don't think I can ever make the switch to scooters though.

Though I've always felt that it kinda fits my "style".

Whatever my "style" is, that is.

Thanks to a customer,
Who honestly thought that I'm in my thirties,
I no longer know what my "style" is.

I'm just gonna blame it on the facial hair.

I know it makes me look ten years older,
(And it's not really full enough)
But I just can't bear to let it go.

Maybe if I get myself an electric shaver,
I'll get rid of it.

Some pictures before I leave...

The collection keeps growing.

A little something for myself this month.

Pringles, anyone?

Till next time.

"I've been gone for too long again."

:: Dave Koz - Nothing but the radio on

The weather's just too bloody warm,
Thus eliminating whatever little desire,
I have left inside me to blog.

Can't really be sure if it's affecting everyone,
Or just me,
Because my hair is lot longer now.

Now I know why I've always failed in my past missions,
To grow my hair out:
I really can't stand the heat.

Gotta take my hat off to all you guys with long hair.

Got a new pair of specs to match my "new" hair as well.
I was wearing plastic frames for a few years,
Before I stopped last year,
And now I've gone back to them again.

No pics yet, (but soon)
But the look I was aiming for was "Peter Parker",
Though in the end it was more Clark Kent than the former.

But I'm still pleased with the result.

The specs were on my want-list for a long time,
But I wanted to make sure,
I hit my target for the month,
Before spending so much again.

May was like shit for me,
Because like I mentioned in the last post,
Everyone's just waiting for the GSS to start.
Thank God we had a private sale for members last Saturday,
And everything worked out well in the end.

It was madness last Saturday though.
I didn't have time to eat until 6pm,
(And that's lunch)
But it was worth it,
Because I managed half the month's target in one day.

Thank God again for the private sale.

And now there's another month to look forward to.
Sigh.

"I forgot to add in the title, so here it is."

I kept reminding myself to blog,
But as usual, laziness always prevailed in the end.

But since I managed,
To sneak in an hour-long nap in the afternoon,
I feel refreshed enough to write a little tonight.

It's been quite a while since my last update,
I can't even remember what has happened since then...

But I'll try.

As for the little denim debate I had the last time,
I had already decided on a pair of Skulls,
(My first pair of Japanese jeans!)
And I'm pretty pleased with the fit.

For once, I'm grateful for my skeletal frame.
Or else,
I wouldn't be able to pull off the Skulls,
Which are pretty skinny.

I remember the boss of Front Row telling me,
"A lot of people will kill to have your body!"

Yeah right.
A lot of people will kill themselves,
If they have my body.
Unless, of course,
You want to fit into one of those skin-tight jeans.

And oh,
I was complaining about sales last month right?
In the end, everything worked out fine,
And April turned out to be my best month ever.

But this month was truly pathetic.
I already have 3 "zero days" and it's only the 17th.
I'm sure everyone is just waiting for the GSS to start,
So I'm just stoning in the shop everyday,
Trying my best to finish this:

Just one of the old books in my collection,
That I've never gotten round to completing.
So hopefully this time I'll succeed.

Oh,
I'm also very pleased,
That I've managed to convince my boss,
To BYOB when we go buy our makan.

But damn it,
Those reports on the papers are really true:
Everyone looks at you funny,
When you fish out your own plastic bag.

Although sometimes it works out well,
When you actually influence the person behind you,
To not take a plastic bag as well.

Life's quite boring now that the Amazing Race has ended,
Because I can't get to see my beloved Dustin anymore.

But then,
I'm very grateful to America's Next Top Model,
For inviting Dita Von Teese to make a guest appearance,
On last week's episode.
It was the first time I laid my eyes on her,
And damn it,
It was love at first sight.

"It's hard work thinking of titles."

:: Jaheim - I ain't never

I realized nowadays I'm just trying,
To post at least once a month.

Though I gotta say,
I've been pretty hardworking this April.
3 entries this month already!

A far cry from the days,
When I used to blog every day.
Or at the very least,
Once every other day.

Anyway,
I was also wondering who it was,
The mystery person,
Who knew me well enough to know I'm a spoilt brat.

Actually I also don't know if I'm one.

But if being a spoilt brat,
Means that I still have to do my own laundry,
Wash the dishes,
Mop and clean my own room, the toilet,
Blah, blah, blah,
I sure don't see the benefits of being one.

Sigh.
Personal sales have been dismal this week.
Hope things pick up for me tomorrow.
Cos I'm thinking of buying another pair of jeans.

Skulls?
Nudies?
Imperials?
Don't know what I'm talking about?

"Some random pictures."

:: Air Supply - Two less lonely people

Parrot gathering: Faith, Love and Prince...

The new helmet...

New shoes, something other than Nike all the time.

Bought a Ninja Turtle from Mcd...

And I seemed to have aged a lot in a year.
(First pic taken in March last year,
And the second taken today)
