For all you McDonald's lovers out there,
This is for you.

Wednesday's socie lecture was about globalization.
Of course,
McDonald's was bound to come in as an example.
So Raffin mentioned a French sociologist,
Who offered an explanation of why Mac's is so popular.
R: "What does the bun remind you of?"
Everyone just looked at her like she was mad.
R: "The shape? The color?"
Everyone: "Uhh..."
R: "What is the most common experience,
That everyone in the world shares?"
E: "Eh... birth?"
R: "Oh it's actually breast-feeding."
E: "Uh oh..."
R: "Do you guys think that the bun looks like a breast?"
Some guy spoke up.
"Uh no, my mother's breasts don't have sesame seeds."
Wahahahaha.
Anyway,
It's just some dumb theory,
Of how the bun reminds of our experience being breast-fed,
And so Mac's is like some comfort food for us.
Go figure.
