Woke up to the news of the deaths of the Iranian twins.
Was surprised initially,
Because I thought the operation was going well.
Still feel sad when I think about it now.
Their bravery is certainly commendable.

On a lighter note,
I got my new specs today.
Rode to town just to get them,
And it was freezing cold today.
Chatted with the very friendly optician for quite a while,
Before heading home.

A slight headache is developing,
As I'm trying to get adjusted to my new specs.
Oh well.
I took more than a week to get used to my old pair of Oakleys,
Because the lenses were curved.
