Happy New Year!

This is the first time,
That I truly appreciate CNY.
Afterall,
I don't get any other holidays off besides this.

Got to knock off at 5pm today,
But was pretty busy the whole day.
Looks like everyone's into last-minute shopping.

No new year clothes for me this year,
Only have a pair of new Dunks.
Though I tried on a pair of 501's Reborn yesterday,
And really liked them.
But I think I'll get them after the New Year.
I hate to shop when it's damn crowded.

I'm feeling so much better,
After seeing the doc on Monday.
But the medicine makes me feel kinda high,
And I take about 2 seconds more to react to stimuli.
Delayed reaction,
I'll say.

For example,
I kept tripping over this shoe on the shop floor.
And while the brain takes a few seconds,
To comprehend what actually happened,
There's this strange indescribable feeling during this timelag.
Alright,
Nobody knows what I'm trying to say anyway.

Had steamboat for reunion dinner.
Like 95% of the Chinese population in Singapore.
Did my laundry and mopped the floor after that.
I'm really turning into a new person,
Ever since I started working.
And I like the change,
So there's no way I'll go back to school.

Speaking of school,
NUS has got to be the most irritating institution around.
First they sent me a notice,
That they'll be deducting school fees on the 26th,
Even though I've sent my withdrawal form long ago.

So I called them up,
And now I've to go for an interview,
So that I can be allowed to quit school.
Argh.
