I was wrong,
To think that this would be better than studying.

I have to struggle to keep myself awake,
When it's really quiet at times.
Now that the festive season is over,
The only thing that's bringing shoppers back is a sale.
And there's no friggin' sale at my shop.

It's really stressful,
When the supervisor calls every hour,
To check how many pairs I've sold.
And then every month,
They'll rate your performance on a score sheet.
So obviously,
I got lots of shit from the supervisors.

Sometimes I feel,
If I can't even do a simple job well,
Where will I find the confidence to aim for a real job?

Bah.

So the tailored shirts were finally ready on Saturday.
To avoid a mad rush,
And a high possibility of indigestion,
I "borrowed" 15 minutes from Sunday's lunch break,
So that I can go collect my shirts.

This time around,
The shirts were a lot pricier,
But the quality of the cotton was excellent.
It's the kind where you put on the shirt,
And the word "lux!" immediately pops into your head.

Alright.
Gonna go for a haircut later.
I feel super sian right now.
All of a sudden,
I just dread going to work.
