I usually dislike Wednesdays,
Because it's her day off.

But today is an exception,
Cos she stayed over to watch Euro '04.

Finally I've found a girl,
Who's just as enthusiastic about football as I am.
Ironically,
She bets and I don't.

Actually,
We were supposed to do her assignment as well,
But I guess football took centerstage.

I nodded off a couple of times at work today,
But I was probably too happy to care anyway.
Handed in my resignation letter yesterday,
And I feel as though a huge stone has been lifted.

Goodbye to my days of eating humble pie!
