"God certainly takes care of his fools."
I'm so glad the day is coming to an end.
(Note: my day only ends when I go to bed)
I spent the whole night yesterday,
Tossing and turning in bed.
On hindsight,
It must have been a sign of things to come.
Anyway,
I was supposed to meet some old friends,
For dinner and ktv today.
And so I rode to town,
Since the sky seemed rather clear.
It started raining when I reached the carpark,
So I ran for my life,
As soon as I had the parking coupon displayed.
After dinner, just as we were walking to Kbox,
I realized that I had left my cashcard in the ERP unit.
Bah.
I rushed down to the carpark,
But of course, it wasn't there anymore.
This is the 2nd time this year,
I lost a newly topped-up cashcard.
I went to 7-Eleven immediately and bought a new one,
Cursing myself all the way back to Kbox.
I thought that was bad.
By the way,
I shared the lift with Ben Yeung on my way up.
That's the guy who acted as Shaohong,
In the Channel U drama "Heal and be healed".
I didn't really fancy him in the show,
But he's quite good-looking in person.
Heheh.
After a few hours of singing,
I decided to go grab a burger from BK as I feeling peckish.
That's why I noticed that I only had my house keys,
Hanging on my carabiner.
Uh-oh.
Where the hell was my bike key?
I think I was about to pass out any moment then.
Mybikeisgonemybikeisgonemybikeisgone.
That's all I could think of,
As I ran towards the carpark,
With a sinking feeling in my heart
What kind of idiot would leave the key behind?
But I got lucky.
Thank God I left my key hanging in the helmet lock,
Instead of the ignition.
I think the guy who took my cashcard,
Must've been so happy at his find,
He missed the key sticking out at the side of the bike.
I think I've never been so scared in my whole life before.
Phew.
I'm a lucky boy.
Thank you my Lord.
However,
I'm still pretty traumatized right now.
