"Hello, I'm back."

I'm back with a new computer,
Because the old one has decided its time is up.

Thankfully everything is settled before 2006,
Though I've learnt to be less reliant on the net,
During this period of cold turkey.

The original plan was to buy some Acer CPU for $699,
Which doesn't come with a monitor.
(That's okay, cos I already have a pretty decent one)

But I guess my dad got sick of running around with me,
Trying to find that particular model.
It was sold out everywhere we looked.

Or maybe he was feeling generous,
But in the end I'm sitting at my desk now,
Typing on a new Compaq notebook.

It also came with a free digicam.

Er,
It's not the newest model out now for sure,
But it's free....
And the old Cybershot,
Had also decided to join the old comp in heaven.

That makes the G-shock picture,
The last photo I took on it.

Of course,
I'm also supposed to share the laptop with my dad,
And teach him how to surf the web.

It's gonna be tough.

I've taught him how to sms a lot of times,
And he's still not sending any.

Oh well.

In addition to the notebook,
I've also picked up a nasty flu bug,
So I will be resting at home for the next few days.

Hopefully I recover in time for Christmas.

Though there aren't any concrete plans at all.
