"Why do we have to work?"

Although it has been more than 2 years,
Since my 18-day-long stay at SGH,
I still have to go back for checkups,
Albeit at a much lower frequency.

Damn,
Today's blood test costs $123!
And then there's still the consultation fee next week.

At this rate,
I'm never ever gonna get my new helmet.

I was ready to get it last October,
But I decided to put the money aside first,
Until I find a job.

I said I don't really want to work in retail again,
But I guess the fear of being jobless during CNY,
Is greater than the fear of working in retail,
So here I am,
Stuck again in a thankless job.

But well,
There's always the option of quitting if it's really bad.
Provided I can find a better job, that is!

The bad thing about working now is that,
I won't be able to catch the 9pm show on Channel 8,
Starring Dawn Yeoh.

Jen's probably gonna say "Eeee..",
But I think she's really quite cute, whiny voice and all.
