"This is absolutely ridiculous!"

Things haven't been smooth-sailing at all.
Wait.
Make that an understatement.

Just when my mum is on the road to recovery,
And about to be discharged,
Another disaster strikes.

She fractured her femur during a physiotherapy session,
And is scheduled for another operation later at noon.
My mum spent 4 hours in the ward with excruciating pain,
All because the physiotherapist insisted that what she felt,
Were just muscle cramps.

Duh.

The doctor was damn pissed off,
Cos she made my mum navigate the stairs,
When she wasn't supposed to.

Duh again.

And then I have my own set of problems.

Received a letter from the LTA today.
Time for my bike to go for an inspection.
That of course, is not a problem.
Just an inconvenience.
(Actually I think the brakes might not pass the test)

The purpose of noting this down,
Is to remind myself.

And so I think I have found a supervisor for my thesis.
Don't think it's gonna help much though.
Cos it's due 2 months later on the 5th of November.

Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.

I seriously doubt my ability,
To complete a 12,000-word thesis in 2 months.
I don't even want to try.
You know you're in trouble,
When your supervisor says that you're in trouble.

I'm just dying to quit,
And then I can write an entry titled,
"The Return of the College Dropout".
Or "The College Dropout, part II".

I really really really want to quit.
But this is not the time,
To break this piece of exciting news to my mother.

Should've known from the start.
Studying is not my forte,
And honours is not my cup of tea.
In fact,
Nothing is.
