"Things are getting better... I think."

Haven't updated for a while.
Maybe I've finally lost it.

Lost the blogging gene in me.

Or perhaps I've just been too busy,
And too tired from over-worrying.
Even the tamagotchi is often neglected nowadays.

Certain things seem to be looking up though.

Visited my mum again in the afternoon.
I left my bike at some no-parking area,
Because I didn't see any lots available.

My mum seems to be rather happy,
As she took her first step today since the surgery,
But with the help of a walking aid of course.

Since it was Sunday,
The ward was crowded with visitors.
Kids, relatives, ex-colleagues.
Then my mum later realized,
That one of another patient's visitors was her old friend.

With all that noise,
It really seemed as though it was some family reunion party.
Except that it is held at a hospital.

Wanted to buy clothes after that,
But came up empty-handed.
What a bummer.
Did manage to visit her for a while later,
So it wasn't all that bad.

So my mum's on the road to recovery,
And that's one worry less to keep me awake at night.

Actually what pisses me off a lot,
Is the fact that I've not been able,
To find a supervisor for my thesis.
And it's not as though,
I've been sitting on my ass all this time.

Ah what the heck.

I can always file for graduation right now.
And waste one semester's school fees.
