"I'm just dying for some McDonald's, ya know."
Feeling kind of dazed now.
Lack of sleep is causing,
The day's events to become blurry.
Woke up really early at ten today.
Okay,
Not that early to you,
But it is for me.
So that I can make it in time,
For my doctor's appointment at 12.30.
You know,
It's my first visit after getting discharged,
So I had no idea,
The hospital is so freaking inefficient.
After wasting my life away in the waiting area,
I finally got to see the prof at 2pm.
Boo...
What's the use of having an appointed time,
When we still have to wait hours for our turn?
Next time I'll bring a book.
Yeah yeah there's gonna be a "next time".
Because my pancreas is still inflamed.
Albeit a mild inflammation.
Or so he says, I dunno.
Because he never showed me the blood test results.
That means 2 things:
The crappy low-fat diet continues,
And I get more medicine.
The latter equates more time spent,
Waiting in the pharmacy.
And the pharmacist made fun of my drug allergy.
Because it's highly uncommon,
To be allergic to such a common drug.
"Allergic to... LOMOTIL???"
Strangely, that was also what Enrika said,
As she went through my file,
When she was on night duty one night.
Anyway I was on my way back,
When I spotted Nurse J and her backpack.
(Nurses like backpacks I figured)
Scared the hell out of her,
By suddenly leaping into her path.
On hindsight, I figured it was damn childish,
But she's probably the most fun to talk to.
Too bad she had to rush home,
For the delivery of "something she ordered".
Alright.
I was feeling a little down,
Because of my damned pancreas,
And decided on retail therapy,
To cheer myself up.
Supposed to pick up some eyecream,
(Because I'm getting old)
From either Zirh or Lab Series.
By the way,
The Zirh one smells horrible.
But I got waylaid by some sneakers,
And ended up purchasing some Nike Tweed dunks.
Tweed.
Yum.
That's what Sherlock Holmes would be wearing on his feet,
If he's still alive today.
Picked up a t-shirt from Fox Racing as well.
I must be going mad,
Coz I'm broke from all that shopping,
And all those visits to SGH.
Now to settle my school stuff.
Most probably,
It's goodbye NUS.
The most "hip" university in Singapore.
Heh.
