"I need a Single's guide to surviving Valentine's Day."
Wow,
I can't believe it has been more than a week,
Since my last update.
I'm getting very lazy,
And I have also completely lost all desire,
To look for a job.
So Chinese New Year came and left without much fanfare.
(I know technically it is 15 days long,
But it feels like it's over)
The only good thing about it is the food.
This is probably the first time,
I'm attacking all the titbits with reckless abandon,
Because usually I try not to eat so much of the heaty stuff.
Had a family dinner on Saturday at the Orchard Parade Hotel,
And I must say that the food wasn't good at all.
In fact,
Everything was damn salty.
Sadly we couldn't go to the restaurant we went to last year,
Cos they didn't have any ramps for wheelchair access.
You'll be surprised at the difficulty we faced,
In finding a decent place that's also wheelchair-friendly.
Unfortunately,
I also feel the need to blog about what happened after dinner.
It could be summed up in one word:
Moxtastic.
Which reminds me of what happened on Friday night.
What a freaky coincidence,
Because Friday night can also be summed up in one word,
Albeit this time being,
Monkerific.
Actually they both mean the same thing,
Except different words have to be created,
In order to describe different locations.
Can someone just tell me why,
Even though I know that all lesbian parties suck big time,
I still insist on going every once in a while,
To check things out?
I didn't know it was possible,
To go with no expectations,
And still leave disappointed.
Anyway,
I met people I haven't met in a while,
And while some would go,
"Wow, your new voice!",
The rest will continue to speak to me,
Without even noticing any change.
Or maybe they just pretended not to,
I don't know.
Even though I'm still completely the same old Bin,
I've realized that a simple thing,
Such as a voice change,
Can really do wonders in passing.
Because some girls thought that Will and I were a gay couple.
Pretty amusing.
Lastly,
I've been thinking of a "new" name for the "new" me.
And guess what,
It's a lot tougher than I had expected.
So it's really a blessing that our names are given to us,
As we can spare ourselves,
The nightmarish task of choosing our own names.
And the thing is,
No one name will please every single one of your friends.
What I love,
They will end up hating.
In fact,
The majority of my suggestions have been rejected,
Thrown back at my face,
And replaced with an even more ridiculous-sounding name.
You know what,
I give up.
