"Go before or after work huh?"

Why must it always rain cats and dogs,
On my day off?
(Okay, it has been raining everyday lately,
But still.)

I only get one day per week,
To get my things done,
And obviously,
Nothing was accomplished today.

Unless you consider waking up at 6pm to be one.

I was supposed to go to SGH today for a blood test,
Because my last 2 appointments were cancelled,
Due to the fact that I hadn't gotten the tests done.

(No biggie,
The doctor just wants to see if my pancreas is still okay)

Luckily I still have the chance to do it next week,
Before the appointment in May.

By the way,
I'm very proud of myself for being able,
To resist the urge to go shopping this month.
Not that I really had much of a choice,
Cos I overspent last month,
And I have to put aside some cash to replace what I blew.

Actually I still shop a lot - window shop only.
Thankfully there's nothing that I really want to buy also.
Hopefully,
In a month or two's time,
I'll be able to get a new pair of jeans.

Ideally,
APC or Nudies.
But most likely,
Won't be able to afford either, haha.

:-(

On a totally different note,
I think I'm finally gonna get the chance to vote.

:-)

Universal suffrage is such a basic civil right nowadays,
But some Singaporeans may never get to vote,
Depending on whether you live,
In the right (or wrong?) constituency.

Most don't care anyway.

And those who do,
And kpkb about the ruling party,
Don't dare to vote against it in the end.

Oh well.

P.S.
I don't think it's gentlemanly behaviour,
To keep putting down other parties' candidates,
You know.
