"The aftermath."

Once upon a time,
There was this very arrogant boy.

And of course,
He wasn't arrogant without reason:
He was always the top student every year without fail.
But still,
That doesn't mean you have to act like an asshole right?

The majority of the other students didn't like him.
But few dared to voice out their displeasure.
For not only was he the top student and head prefect,
His father was also the principal of the school.

The boy often bullied his schoolmates,
But nobody wanted to be expelled for complaining,
And hence most of his victims kept quiet.

And then one day it finally came:
The all important final exams.
The arrogant boy then proudly proclaimed,
That he will ace all his subjects.
However,
On the day the results were released,
He was shocked,
To find out that he only scored distinctions,
In 66% of his papers.

Some of his so-called "friends" couldn't resist the urge,
And ran up to him.
"So, how do you feel about that?"

"Huh? My results are very good what!
Exactly like what I had predicted all along!
I'm still the top student anyway... "

"Oh, okay loh."

End of story.

Okay,
I don't know what I was writing about.

Anyway,
I've spent one third of my life,
Searching for the perfect wallet chain,
And I've still not found it.
