Got home not long ago,
After spending the night at Mel Lim's place.
Had a gathering of some sort,
With my ex-classmates.
It started pouring when it was time to leave,
So in the end I just fell asleep.
I was the only one who stayed over,
Cos the rest either left early,
Or had boyfriends with cars to save them.

Got my first decent night's sleep since last week.
Unfortunately,
It was still raining when I left in the morning.
The ride home was freezing cold,
I'm just thankful I didn't make the decision,
To wear my new kicks yesterday.

It was kind of nice to get away from my family.
Usually they don't call me even if I don't go home,
But this time they did.
Twice in fact.
Maybe they are worried I'll go kill myself again.
